In 1958, the Anti-Prostitution Law was enacted, and official brothels, so-called "red lines" were abolished. Prostitution gradually went underground and became an amateur business. Even Masae Tanaka (Shiori Tsukada), who works for the company, never thought that she would become a prostitute.
